It might only be spring training but baseball fans got their first look at Bryce Harper in a Philadelphia Phillies uniform on Saturday afternoon as the 26-year-old made his Phillies debut against the Toronto Blue Jays.
The $330 million man ended up drawing a five-pitch walk in his first at-bat of the afternoon, but it was his choice of walk-up song that had baseball fans around the league talking.
That’s right, the newest member of the Phillies is using the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air theme song as his new walk-up song and it’s not just Phillies fans who are showing their appreciation for his choice.
It’s safe to say everyone in Philly has Harper Fever right now.
