Every Toronto Raptors fan remembers what was said about Bruno Caboclo when the team selected him with the 20th pick in the 2014 NBA Draft; he’s the Brazilian Kevin Durant and he’s two years away from being two years away.
Well, the Bruno Caboclo experiment came to an end in Toronto last week when the team dealt the 22-year-old to the Sacramento Kings in exchange for Malachi Richardson.
Although he only appeared in 25 games for the Raptors during his time with the organization, Caboclo played a big role on the Raptors 905 and helped them capture the title last season.
After taking a few days to let it all sink in, Caboclo thanked the Raptors organization and its fans for all the support he’s received since he was drafted through a heartfelt message on Instagram.
Hopefully it all works out for him in Sacramento and he’s on the team’s NBA roster next year when the Kings come to Toronto.
