The Christmas spirit is in the air now more than ever, even if the snow isn't in the air in some places.
Everywhere you go, it's more likely than not you'll see something holiday related, whether it be Santa Clause, holiday lights, or even Christmas trees.
Even at sporting events in the month of December, we've seen a ton of Christmas related items, and that trend continued Tuesday night in Boston.
During intermission of the Bruins and Islanders game, legendary anthem singer Rene Rancourt, with the help of a giant bear, brought the fans to their feet with an excellent rendition of Elvis Presley's "Blue Christmas."
Rancourt, who has been Boston's anthem singer for over 40 years, did an outstanding job with that rendition.
If the bear literally joined in, that would have taken the whole performance to the next level, but really, who are we to complain about something so awesome.
Fans had some reason to complain, however, as the Bruins lost for the sixth time in eight games, 4-2 the final to the Islanders.
