It’s all smiles in Lightning Land these days as the juggernaut squad continues to tear it up heading into playoffs. While they still have a lot of work to do, it’s hard not to enjoy yourself a little bit when you’re literally breaking records along the way to a memorable season.
Apparently they’re also having fun off the ice.
Brayden Point, who is enjoying fantastic 3rd season in the league (83 points in 68 games so far), is celebrating his 23rd birthday on Wednesday. In response, his Tampa teammates – notably Ryan Callahan – decided to have a little fun with Point. Their method of choice? A plate of whipped cream (or… shaving cream?) to the face.

He’s in good spirits about it, and you can bet he’ll be on high-alert next year. Three different times? Come on, Brayden, learn with age!
