In a league where entertaining personalities seem to be somewhat of a rarity (at least in the public eye), guys like Brady Tkachuk are a welcome change of pace. Tkachuk’s on-ice antics are entertaining on their own, but he also brings a fun attitude to the media and it’s one reason why he’s become so beloved in Ottawa.
On Tuesday, Tkachuk wasn’t even trying to be funny when a comical moment happened on camera. While speaking to TSN about how fortunate he feels to play with guys like Drake Batherson and Josh Norris, Tkachuk accidentally stumbled into a hilarious reference.

Anyone that watched the adventures of fictional stepbrothers Drake Parker and Josh Nichols likely has a soft spot in their heart for the show. While the actors, Drake Bell and Josh Peck, will likely finish their careers best known for this show, it also proved to be a breakout sitcom for Miranda Cosgrove.
Cosgrove, who plays Drake’s younger sister Megan in the show, would later go on to star as Carly Shay in another Nickelodeon hit show, iCarly.
For what it’s worth, we would absolutely watch a re-boot of Drake and Josh featuring Batherson and Norris. As long as it is in fact Tkachuk that’s writing it, that is!
