Though we know it might sound weird, we think that sports are at their best when there’s a little magic involved.
Does that make sense? There are some moments in sports that are just too perfect to be attributed to anything other than a little bit of sports magic – a little taste of impeccable flawlessness that couldn't have been drawn up better than they actually happen.
On Tuesday, Bo Bichette was treated to one of those magical moments.
Bichette has been great as of late, and on Tuesday, he smashed a homer into what looked like outer space at Fenway in the Blue Jays’ series against the Red Sox.
Though the home run itself was jaw-dropping, where the ball landed is where the true sports magic we’re talking about comes into play.
In a stroke of crazy luck and coincidence, the ball landed right outside of the exact building where Bichette’s parents met 30 years prior.
Now what are the odds of that?!
Looks like Bichette has retrieved the ball, which we imagine will be a special memento for his entire family.
