It’s been a tough season for the Chicago Blackhawks. The organization that was considered a dynasty not long ago is now bring up the rear in the league standings, and the fans are getting used to their new losing ways.
Fortunately, they’ve still got a winner in Tommy Hawk.
The Blackhawks mascot was seen on a video dealing with an unruly fan that was getting a little too close. It even appears as though the fan may be trying to unmask Tommy, which is the worst thing that can happen to a mascot.
At first it appears that maybe the two are jostling in a friendly mascot-fan kind of way, but then Tommy Hawk full on throws the fan to the ground and throws a couple punches. From there it looks as though the mascot is more trying to restrain the fan, but the physical showing was actually fairly impressive.
