It’s the season of giving in America, and the giving is coming in all shapes and sizes. In fact, the ones that are doing the giving are also coming in all shapes a sizes. Not many of those people are bigger than Zdeno Chara, however!
The hulking Boston Bruins defenceman took time to help distribute pies ahead of Thanksgiving in Boston. All masked up, Chara stood out in the same way he usually does, above everyone else, as he handed out pies to excited recipients.
While his 6’9 stature may be daunting for his opponents on the ice, everything about Big Z is gentle and sweet of the ice.
…Let’s just make sure we don’t let him get back into that bunny costume again, fair? We prefer Thanksgiving Chara over Easter Chara, always.
