NFL football is back! Granted, it’s only back in the form of preseason as teams gear up for the 2018 campaign, and we’ll understand if that may not necessarily be your cup of tea. John Ross of the Cincinnati Bengals, however, has a strong argument to make for your attention.
Playing against the Buffalo Bills today, Bengals quarterback Andy Dalton is able to find Ross downfild at the 10-yard line, and then Ross does the rest as he jukes out two defenders with an absolutely rude sequence of stutter moves.
That’s just nasty. Ross was a first round pick by the Bengals in 2017, and his 4.22 40-yard dash broke the combine record; however, injuries disrupted his rookie year. If he can keep putting defenders to shame with his speed, though, we think he’ll be just fine.
Maybe the Bills should sign some of these Browns security guards to beef up their secondary. If you can tackle a streaker, you can tackle anything.
