It's actually pretty surprising that Bill Belichick has never shown up to Super Bowl media day and pulled the "I'm just here so I won't get fined."
Monday, it seemed as if Belichick was actually in a playful mood with the media for once, as a reporter got him to laugh at a joke so lame it belongs in one of those "dad joke" competition videos. But that's where the laughter stopped. Later in the evening, Guillermo Rodriguez, who is best known for his appearances as a security guard on Jimmy Kimmel Live, showed up for his annual interview segment. Let's just say Belichick wasn't all that happy to see Guillermo.
In case you missed Belichick's laugh from earlier in media day, the joke that Guillermo told the Patriots head coach was the exact same one that he had heard earlier. Belichick's disdain for Guillermo probably has something to do with the interaction that took place between the two last year at media day when Belichick declined to sign a "futbol."
We'll have to wait and see who else Guillermo managed to tick off at media day when they release this year's full video.
