One of the most beloved players in recent baseballing memory, Bartolo Colon hasn't been seen in the MLB since the 2018 season that he spent with the Texas Rangers. On the cusp of his 47th birthday now, it seems likely that he’s done in the majors.

Still, don’t tell that to Bartolo Colon! Per ESPN’s Marly Rivera, Colon is still gunning for that last major league season, and if he had a choice, it would be with the team that he was an All-Star with in 2016: The New York Mets.

Currently, Colon is under contract in the Mexican League, and it doesn’t help his cause that things with the 2020 MLB season are very much in the air at the moment.

Still, wouldn’t it be a pleasure to see Big Sexy back in the big leagues? Give it to us. Bartolo Colon’s Last Dance.
