Remember how everyone was saying that Jackie Bradley Jr.'s home run robbing grab on Aaron Judge from a few weeks back was potentially the "catch of the year?" Well, it now may not even be the best catch made in centrefield at Fenway Park this season.
Tuesday, Cleveland Indians outfielder Austin Jackson risked life and limb to rob Red Sox slugger Hanley Ramirez with an absolutely incredible catch that even shocked the pitchers in Boston's bullpen.
It would have been an absolute crime to reverse the call on that catch, because it was astonishingly beautiful. Ramirez and John Farrell may not agree, but that's certainly a play that everyone in the ballpark should be clapping for.
