Artist that messed up Ronaldo bust redeems himself with much better version

Remember that horrendous bust sculpture of Cristiano Ronaldo that was featured inside the airport of Madeira, Portugal? 

After receiving worldwide criticism, Emanuel Santos, who designed the creepy and odd looking sculpture, has made amends and finally designed a new one that actually looks like the Portuguese soccer superstar.

Thanks to Bleacher Report, Santos was granted a second chance, and let’s just say this one is much more realistic.

 See, that’s much better, unless you find the first rendition so bad that it’s actually good. We should cut Santos some slack because that was his first ever bust sculpture he designed, which raises the question:

Why did they even choose him in the first place?
