We love a good emergency backup story here at BarDown. Although many of us are Leaf fans and we got to see the most brutal circumstance of an EBUG beating your team it is still one of the coolest things that can happen in sports.
No EBUG’s are allowed in the arena this year due to COVID-19 which means in the case of an emergency you never know who might have to strap up the pads. For the Senators last night it was forward Artem Anisimov.
Anisimov laced up the skates and was ready to go if he was called upon by his squad.
We never got to see him get in there but man that would have been AWESOME.
