There's no one in baseball like Aroldis Chapman.
The Yankees' closer who won a World Series with the Cubs last season makes his money thanks to his fastball that isn't close to being matched by anyone in baseball.
Imagine knowing that a 100mph heater is coming at you and still not being able to come close to touching it. That's how most hitters feel going against Chapman. They know what's coming, but his fastball is so good, it just can't be hit consistently.
With pitchers and catchers having already reported, Chapman's already getting ready for next season, and if you don't believe us, see for yourself up close.
And get even closer...
Scary to say the least.
We wouldn't want to be anywhere near home plate with Chapman on the mound.
Obviously every MLB team would love to have a Chapman, but there aren't many people on the planet with that velocity.
The White Sox, however, are hoping they're one of the teams that has one of those people in Michael Kopech.
