The items that are starting to be spotted on NHL benches more frequently are quite interesting: iPads, smelling salts, Gatorades, Coca Cola’s, and now Pepto Bismol.
In the Kings and Jets game on Tuesday night, Kings centre Anze Kopitar had the camera’s zoom in on him during a stoppage in play. Kopitar looked down the bench to one of his teammates and called for the secret pink stuff.
The Pepto may’ve gave Kopitar some super powers, as he set up Dustin Brown for a goal on a 2-on-1 for the Kings lone goal in the game. BREAKING: The NHL has banned the usage of performance enhancing substances like Pepto Bismol.
So, Anze, what did you eat earlier in the night? He almost got a peice of Drew Doughty's stick in his chiclets...
Sing it with us: Nausea, heartburn, indigestion, upset stomach, diarrhea, YA ANZE KOPITAR.
