Sometimes you never know where the good is going to come from. With so many relevant causes in our world, it is hard to know where to put any charitable ventures. That’s the beauty of athlere-endorsed charities – the success of it can be dictated by the play of the player.
While he has been in the league as a starter for a long time, Andy Dalton has never necessarily been a superstar quarterback. He’ll find endorsement and he has enough exposure that it helps to put his name on a good cause nonetheless. On Sunday, Dalton’s foundation, the Andy & Jordan Dalton Foundation, received an unprecedented spike in donations based on the heroic pass that consequently sent the Buffalo Bills to the playoffs for the first time in 17 years.
How big of a spike? By Monday evening, over $57,000 in donations had flooded Dalton’s cause – almost exclusively sent from Bills fans paying their thanks to the Red Rifle.
Wow, what a fantastic domino effect one good play can have. Although Dalton wasn’t necessarily doing it specifically for the Bills, the city of Buffalo and Bills Mafia wanted to pay their thanks anyway.
What better way than to donate to seriously ill and physically challenged kids?
