With all of the hype about Ronda Rousey’s return in UFC 207, many were shocked with how easily Amanda Nunes defeated her - not Nunes though.

Of course, it’s never easy, but knocking her out in 48 seconds with an absolutely dominating performance, Nunes certainly made it look that way. However, if you asked her, she might say it was easy and totally expected.

After the fight, Nunes walked around the ring with her finger against her lip as if to quiet any of the hype left around Rousey. Well now, she’s gone a step further.

In this satellite interview with TMZ Sports, Nunes takes shots at Rousey’s whole career and calls her overrated.

Here’s her full quote:

“I don’t know how Ronda Rousey went too far away in this division. Honestly, I don’t understand why those girls lost to Ronda Rousey. I know since my first fight in the UFC, I can beat Ronda Rousey, but of course I have to take my time, live life and put everything together. That day was the day to prove to everybody and I did it.” “My camp for Misha Tate was more hard than training for Ronda Rousey” “Yes, for sure [Rousey is overrated]. The UFC make this happen. They put her in a place where she’s not at. But I know I can beat Ronda Rousey since I saw her first fight.”

It’s difficult to argue with how successful Ronda Rousey was in the past, but it seems possible that this was her last fight in the UFC.
