Alshon Jeffery is heading into his eighth NFL season, and just his third with the Philadelphia Eagles, but he’s basically seen it all - and things he thought he’d never see before - in his first two years in Philly.
The 29-year-old has won the Vince Lombardi Trophy. He was part of one of the most insane Super Bowl parades of all-time. He’s led the team in touchdowns.
But he’s also witnessed a fan eat horse poop, and another fan nearly die after the Eagles won their first Super Bowl in franchise history. And he told us all about it.
Fans do some crazy things, especially after they witness their team win a championship for the very first time in their lifetime. In all honesty, the fan who ate the horse poop probably felt a lot worse the next day than the fan who took the trust fall off the canopy.
As for Jeffery, the St. Matthews, South Carolina native led the Eagles in touchdowns in his first year with the team and led their wide receivers in receiving yards and touchdowns last season; finishing second behind tight end Zach Ertz for the team-high in both, and he’s totaled 1,632 receiving yards and 15 touchdowns in 29 games with the Eagles.
