The Montreal Alouettes have put a lot of thought into their uniforms this season.

The team opened up the preseason with blank white helmets, as their plan was to have the players earn their wings leading up to the regular season. As a result, the Als played their first three games rocking the same helmets they wore from 1946-69.

If you were just started to get used to the throwback helmets you’re going to have to start focusing on a new one for the month of July as the team announced they’ll be bringing back their French horn logo they used from 1970-1973.

Montreal will rock two more logos throughout the CFL season as they’ll switch to the delta logo from 1974 for their games in August, and will wrap things up with their A logo they’ve used since 1996.

The Als host the Ottawa Redblacks on Friday night before they head into their Week 5 bye. They’ll return to action in Calgary in Week 6 and will wrap up the month at home against the Edmonton Eskimos.
