When you’re a Stanley Cup Champion, you can pretty much guarantee that your team logo and the words “Stanley Cup Champions” will start to appear on various pieces of merchandise from clothing to beer mugs, and even shoes.
Adidas announced they’ve created a custom set of Washington Capitals Stanley Cup shoes. The Capitals sported the AM4NHL shoes during their cup parade.
Only 1000 shoes were made, and the shoe was available for a pre-order on the website at $200, but the product seems to now be sold out.
The Caps logo is featured on one side, with the signature 3-stripes lining up on the other side. The shoes were quickly designed with just a 14-day lead time. Normally, the process spans for about 18 months from design to the finished product.
Here’s the description of the kicks from the website.
