P.K. Subban has been one of the flashiest players in the NHL since he made his debut back in 2010 and he doesn’t plan on changing anytime soon.
On Monday afternoon, adidas Hockey officially announced that they had added the Predators defenceman to their team and they made the announcement in a very P.K. Subban-like way.
The 28-year-old defenceman is one of the most fashionable guys in the NHL, and even has his own line of suits to show for it, so we’re not surprised that adidas Hockey used this picture to tease the announcement.
The adidas Hockey team decided to make the official announcement of Subban's signing by blending his love for fashion and hockey into the perfect video.
Adidas has done a fantastic job putting together a roster of hockey players this year as Subban now joins a list that includes Connor McDavid, Brent Burns and Tyler Seguin.
Subban’s deal with adidas Hockey is to help with marketing the game off the ice, as he explained to Michael Blinn of SI.
"This has nothing to do with the game on the ice," he says. "This has everything to do with continuing to market the game and bring in new fans, and to do that, I think you gotta be able to cross different platforms."
Team adidas Hockey just got a little stronger with their most recent addition and they’re only going to get better moving forward.
