In the lead up to Game 6 of the Montreal Canadiens’ 1st Round series against the Toronto Maple Leafs, Habs fans experienced something they hadn’t felt in over a year. For the first time since March of 2020, they had entered the Bell Centre.

The Habs’ kingdom gone quiet was finally permitted to host 2,500 fans by the provincial government, and it happened when the team most needed it. While a glimpse back into normalcy was a welcome addition to the rivalry series, it could be seen as somewhat of a shock to the system for those executing roles amid the reopening.

Not for TSN’s Montreal Bureau Reporter John Lu, however. The always-smooth Mr. Lu was as cool and comfortable as could be.

Lu began trending on Twitter shortly after sharing out what is undeniably THE drippiest outfit to grace our social feeds today. Lu explains in the tweet that he had worked with his tailor, Pellegrino Castronovo, to customize the suit we’ve all thought of, but very few of us have executed.

With comfort and style falling into perfect symmetry, Lu presented what he is calling the “Zoom Suit.”

Wow. Hope you were sitting down for that!

Lu’s Zoom Suit has the look of a successful business man, and the comfort of a Sunday sweat set. It even comes with a “party in the back” hood. Match that with the AJ1’s on his feet, and you’ve got yourself the undisputed #ootd.

The Zoom Suit was an absolute hit with fans and colleagues alike.

You may be cool, but you will never be able to be as cool as John Lu.
