Let the madness begin! Well, not quite yet, but if you didn’t know any better you’d think tip-off was this afternoon. Why?

Fans have been holding their place in line all morning to grab a spot outside of Scotiabank Arena for Thursday night’s game and still have a long way to go. To compensate for the time difference between Toronto and the Bay Area (3 hours), tip-off isn’t until 9 o’clock PM Eastern Time. That means that fans will ultimately be waiting nearly 15 HOURS until tip-off, not to mention the 3 hours they’ll have to stand in Toronto’s cool evening weather.
The scene is pretty surreal.

Things are starting to get seriously, seriously wild in Toronto. Murals have been painted, celebrities have made appearances, but let’s just acknowledge this dude’s car for a second. The guts it takes to actually drive around the city with these massive letters plastered on your car!!!!
Now that thing should make an appearance at the square!
Things are going to be wild when tonight’s action kicks off but in the meantime, we hope the fans waiting at least packed a lunch or something for the wait. They still have a long way to go!
