There are few sights more beautiful to hockey players or figure skaters than a frozen lake in the winter.  Hockey is incredibly fun to play on a frozen lake and figure skating is just as fun, too.

Figure skating is an extremely difficult sport, but the best figure skaters in the world not only make it look effortless, but they also make it look magical and bring out emotions from spectators that few sports can.  Apparently figure skating is even more breathtaking to watch on a frozen lake and this video from 22-year-old Olympic champion Adelina Sotnikova is proof of that.

Every time you’re here I can love Don’t you know I’ve been waiting so long Like a first time give me this madness Just stay and look into my eyes #life #кайф #байкал

Sotnikova wasn't able to compete at the Winter Olympics that just passed due to injury, but as you can see, she has all the talent in the world.

We're also pushing for figure skating and hockey to be played on frozen lakes all the time because it's an absolutely incredible environment to skate on.
