Zion Williamson became an internet sensation when he was in high school and now he’s about to go first overall in the 2019 NBA Draft, according to Shams Charania.
The night before the draft, the soon-to-be 19-year-old made his media rounds and on one of his stop he compared himself to some NBA greats such as LeBron James, Michael Jordan, Russell Westrbook and Kawhi Leonard. On Thursday night, Williamson showed up the draft rocking a suit one of those greats wore on his draft night, as well.
In 33 games with the Duke Blue Devils, Williamson averaged 22.6 points, 8.9 rebounds, 2.1 assists, 2.1 steals and 1.8 blocks per game while averaging 30 minutes a night.
