Each and every year during the NHL playoffs, multiple players play through some outrageous injuries in the hopes of helping their team win a Stanley Cup.
Usually the injuries aren't revealed until after a team is eliminated from the playoffs and Thursday, the Toronto Maple Leafs made a big injury announcement about Zach Hyman.
The Leafs are cleaning out their lockers and Hyman spoke a little more in detail about the injury, including when he suffered it and how long it's going to take to him to recover. You're definitely not supposed to play on a torn ACL, but Hyman did in the hopes of helping the Leafs advance to the second round of the playoffs for the first time since 2004. (H/T: Kristen Shilton)
