EA Sports unveiled that Nashville Predators defenceman P.K. Subban will grace the cover of NHL 19 during the NHL Awards in Las Vegas on Wednesday night and they did it in dramatic fashion.
Instead of just dropping Subban’s name and the upcoming cover art, EA Sports took the opportunity to use the spotlight to release the first official trailer for the upcoming release and it has some awesome new features.
Outdoor hockey rinks became a big trend this past winter as people around the world used social media to share videos and images of their beautiful outdoor rinks. Since outdoor rinks are a hot commodity in the hockey world right now, EA Sports is bringing all the outdoor action to your living room as the upcoming release will feature outdoor game modes.
EA Sports will also introduce Real Player Motion technology in this game, just like they’re doing in the upcoming Madden release, which first debuted in FIFA 18. As a way to improve the game play, the EA Sports team did new motion capturing for skating to make the game the most precise it has ever been. On top of the new RPM technology, players will move more accordingly to their size, making every player in the game unique.
Another one of the bigger changes comes in Franchise mode, as the team put more focus into other things like scouting budget, which allows users to hire and fire scouts, more detailed scouting reports, and other awesome features.
