Christmas eve is just ten days away, and that means hockey fans and people around the world are feeling festive.

And what better way to get into the Christmas spirit by taking one of the more popular Christmas tunes and remixing it with your favourite hockey team.

Caitlyn Guibord, an Ottawa Senators fan, is ringing in the holiday season by taking "Jingle Bells" and creating "Dzingel Bells."

Caitlyn's father, Mitch, who co-wrote it with her, released the full version on YouTube.

Here are the lyrics for the "Ottawa Senators Christmas Classic!"

(chorus)

Dzingel Bells, Dzingel Bell
Dzingel breaks away
Oh what fun it is to play
On a line with Matt Duchene

Dzingel Bells, Dzingel Bells
Dzingel breaks away
Oh what fun is to go
to a Senator’s game today!

Verses:

Dashing with Pageau
In a tough division game
On road trips we will go
Scoring all the way.
Bells Boro will ring
And Harpur just might fight
What fun it is with Anderson
Between the pipes tonight.

(repeat chorus)

A game or two ago
I thought I’d take a stride
And then soon Colin White
Was skating by my side
The neutral zone was clear
I had passed it to Chabot
He shot it in the open net
The fans they cheered a lot

Now the rink is white
And young Drake Batherson
Is playing wing tonight
With Tierney and Mark Stone
With Ceci on defence
And Max McCormick’s speed
Deflected puck from young Tkachuk
And crack, they'll take the lead

(repeat chorus)

Dzingel is zinging them in at the highest output of his career and sits second on the team with 12 goals to go along with 22 points in 30 games.
