You won't believe the number of beers LSU fans drank at a game this year to set the school record

College football fans are arguably the best fans in all of sports. It's part of what makes the atmosphere on Saturday's unlike any sport, especially on the major college campuses across the country.

LSU is one of the best programs in college football and Tigers fans have been at a championship level all season long in the stands when it comes to drinking beer.

Those numbers are absolutely insane. Tiger Stadium has a capacity of just over 102,000 and the record number of beers that fans drank was over half of that capacity.

An LSU alum said he told bartenders at the Marriott Marquis in Atlanta during SEC championship week, “However much you think you need, double it. And maybe you’ll have enough.”

Monday night, LSU will be playing for a National Championship and the city of New Orleans may not have enough beer to get through the next 4 days, especially if they win.
