Desperate times call for desperate measures.
 
An angler in Dubai under quarantine was so desperate to get his line in the water that he let it fly from 50 feet in the air into a canal below. Phillip told For The Win Outdoors that he attached a shrimp to his hook on his 11th day of quarantine and low and behold, he got a bite.
 
Note that there was a cut as he brought up the fish but we're going to giving him the benefit of the doubt here.

The video was filmed by Phillip's wife Veriza. If you didn't catch it, Phillip yelled "balcony bream" as he dropped to his knees (probably still trying to figure out how on earth he landed the catch).
 
 
Plessis told For The Win that he had to cast 40-50 feet just to hit the water(!!!!) and that the catch took place on the second cast. You probably won't see many higher catches than that!
