One month ago, Wolf Blitzer and John King likely took over a lot of your televisions for what seemed like an eternity. As election night turned into election week, Blitzer and King were staples on the CNN election results broadcast, consistently delivering key information to interested viewers as America’s Presidential race came into focus.
They also became the focus of meme pages and internet jokes for their resilient energy in spite of the gruelingly slow process. The terms “Key Race Alert” and “Path to Victory” became household if they weren’t already.
On Friday, America may have experienced a little PTSD when Blitzer and King appeared on Twitter once again in a similar election-style setting. Luckily, the subject was a little lighter; the Washington Wizards.
They even managed to include the curveball of the Toronto Raptors playing in Tampa rather than north of the border!
As King goes through the key “battlegrounds”, you may even recognize some of the counties. After all, some of the key counties were those that contained large metropolitan areas.
