On Thursday night Pete DeBoer made his debut as the Golden Knights’ head coach and a lot of people didn’t know how the players were going to react to playing for the former San Jose Sharks head coach, especially how last season ended.
Based on an interaction between William Carrier and DeBoer at the start of the second period, we think the players are keeping the past in the past.
