The Toronto Maple Leafs are all business ahead of today’s RFA deadline but one of their fans is trying to have a little more fun with the situation.
Everyone’s favourite celebrity Leafs fan Will Arnett kicked his day off with a nice little Nylander tweet as fans anxiously await to find out about his future. The Arrested Development/Bojack Horseman star simply wished everyone a “Happy William Nylander Day.” Arnett was born in Toronto in 1970.
Fans were absolutely loving the content.
Arnett has never been afraid to show off the white and blue. He can occasionally be seen rocking Leafs gear and helped spread the word about their old school sweater ahead of the 2014 Winter Classic.
Back to that Nylander guy… TSN’s Bob McKenzie believes the deal is going to come down to the wire. What a “William Nylander Day” this might turn out to be!
Arnett and Leafs Nation are either going to be really happy, or really sad at 5 PM Eastern Time.
