Video games were a huge part of growing up for any kid, whether you’ve barely played them or haven’t stopped since the day you picked up a controller, everyone has some sort of history with video games. When it comes to sports video games, Chel has been a staple for many years in everyone’s collection.
One thing that sucked was having that friend who would always pick the most overpowered team when you were playing. That team would also usually have the top ranked players in the game which got us thinking about NHL ratings and who has had the highest overall rating since NHL 11.
The NHL franchise is notorious for not giving out incredibly high scored for their players. In NHL 11 the highest ranked defence man was Zdeno Chara at 89. That's right, there were zero 90+ overall defence man in the game which is just nuts!
With that being said I think we can imagine which players are vying for the top spot, Sidney Crosby, Connor McDavid and even Alex Ovechkin who has consistently ranked as one of the best in the game for more than decade.
The highest ranking for any player goes to…SIDNEY CROSBY with a ranking of 96. Which makes sense I mean the guys is a stud.
That’s pretty good but we wonder if NHL will ever boost these stats as they have in other franchises such as Madden where there were multiple 99 overall ranked players. They even named it "The 99 Club," there is a club in Madden, we can’t even get ONE player in Chel with that ranking.
