The last 24 years of Raptors history have been building to this point. In Monday’s Game 5, the Raptors will have a chance to clinch their first ever championship. These Finals games are easily the most important games that the team has ever played.
At a time like this, it’s obviously important to live in the moment and appreciate the greatness that we’re witnessing from the team, but you can’t fully grasp what this means to Raptors fans who have been here since the start without remembering past eras of Toronto basketball. Whether they were good ones or bad ones, they’ve all been a part of this journey.
