Every hockey fan knows just how good Connor McDavid is at hockey, including The Great One.

Wayne Gretzky was in attendance for McDavid’s goal of the year candidate against the Toronto Maple Leafs earlier this week and was brought to his feet by the Oilers captain.

Recently, Gretzky joined The Ray & Dregs Hockey Podcast and he broke down McDavid’s incredible goal.

"...it wasn't a spur of the moment decision. I think he had the play is in his mind before he even got over the blue line and that's pretty special."
