Matt Stonie, a man known as Megatoad in the competitive eating world, can put food away.
At 5’8, 130lbs, it’s hard to know where the youngest member of Major League Eating stores it all, but somehow he always seems to come through. The highlight of his competitive eating career came in 2015 when he stunned Joey “Jaws” Chesnut by winning Nathan’s Hot Dog Eating Contest. Chesnut had won the contest in the previous eight years, as well as the two since, making Stonie’s 62-hot dog marathon one of the most iconic moments in competitive eating history.
This is certainly the most significant moment in Stonie’s eating career, but he has been eating obscene amount of food for much longer than that. Stonie has been posting incredible eating feats to his YouTube channel for since 2012 where he has gained attention from celebrities and thousands of fans. The human garburator’s most recent video shows him eat 203 cookies, an insane 12,800 calories, in just over 27 and a half minutes. On top of that, he makes sure to pair it with a gallon of milk.
