It didn’t take Auston Matthews and Mitch Marner very long to win over the heart of every Toronto Maple Leafs fan as they came out of the gate flying and haven’t slowed down one bit over the first three years of their career.
On Wednesday night, they won over the hearts of even more Leafs fans, and even those who aren’t fans of the game or the Leafs, with their outstanding performances as the Cannon Dolls in The Nutcracker.
The role of the Cannon Dolls has been played by different celebrity guests in the past, from members of Arkells to TSN’s own James Duthie and Darren Dreger, as well as Jay Onrait and Dan O’Toole. However, while they all put forth admirable efforts we think we’re going to give the best performance to the young Leafs duo.
