Can you imagine dribbling past an NBA star at the age 12 and having the video evidence to prove you did it?
During a basketball camp in Indianapolis last week, Oklahoma City Thunder guard Victor Oladipo found himself on the wrong end of a fancy dribbling display. 12-year-old K.J. Windham fearlessly lined up in front of Oladipo and left the NBA star in the dust with an impressive move, finishing the layup for good measure.
It would be easy to make a joke on how this 12-year-old beating Oladipo just shows what kind of supporting cast Russell Westbrook is dealing with in OKC, but this sort of thing happens to the best of players. As in something similar happened to the BEST player of all-time.
Back in 2003, Michael Jordan played a game of 1-on-1 against John Rodgers, the CEO of an investments company. Considering the fact that MJ is known as being one of the most competitive athletes to ever walk the face of the the earth, you just know that he didn't want to lose this game. And yet he did.
So before you make fun of Oladipo, just remember, you can make fun of MJ, too. Damon Wayans sure did, yelling "take that picture down and put Rodgers up" following MJ's loss.
