Vladimir Putin loves him some hockey, and he’s no stranger to hitting the ice himself. As we’ve covered in the past, in a lot of his games he has an absolutely unreal box score. For example, in the annual Night Hockey League gala match, Putin put up a ridiculous 8 goals!
Well, Putin is at it again but this time he was joined by the President of Belarus. Following some diplomatic discussions, they both took to the ice for a friendly game of hockey. Putin repeatedly finds himself all alone in front of the net and is able to bury a total of 7 goals in this one. The team went on to win by a landslide, 18 - 7.
Now, you may have noticed that the opposing team is a little soft on the defense. On a couple of the goals, the defenders skate right by Putin. If anyone is making Putin in NHL22, make sure you max out his elusiveness rating.
We’re a little disappointed though, Putin is clearly trending down as he didn’t match the 8 goals he put up earlier this year. Maybe he can surpass it at the 2022 Night Hockey League gala match.
