Vladimir Guerrero Jr. has taken the MLB by storm in his 3rd season with the Toronto Blue Jays. After showing flashes of potential in his previous two years, Vlad Jr. turned the corner in 2021 and currently sits near or at the top of most major batting stat leaderboards in the MLB.
It’s earned him the honours of becoming an AL All-Star starter at 1st base. That’s impressive as it is, but it’s even more impressive that he led all players in All-Star voting, the youngest player to ever do so.
Just take one look at Vladdy’s swing and you know his future is as bright as can be in baseball. While Vladdy has picked up a lot of fans in recent years, no fan will come close to matching his #1 fan – Vladimir Guerrero Sr.
Vlad Sr. has been a very public and vocal supporter of his son, and every major accomplishment is met with a heartwarming post. Vladdy’s latest achievement was no different, and the message from pops was a little extra special.

Guerrero Sr. went to nine All-Star games over his legendary career, blazing the path for his slugging son. If all goes according to plan, Vlad Jr. may just be able to beat that mark.
And nothing would make Vlad Sr. happier.
