Toronto Blue Jays slugger Vladimir Guerrero Jr. has always had the potential to be an absolute beast in the MLB. We’ve seen flashes of it, but so far in 2021, it seems like Vladdy has arrived.

Guerrero Jr. went into Tuesday’s game batting well over .300 with four homers on the year. He nearly doubled that home run total with a historic night vs. the Washington Nationals.

Vladdy smacked three homers on Tuesday, two of which came off legend Max Scherzer.

According to ESPN Stats & Info, Vladdy is the youngest Blue Jay to every have a three home run night. He is also the youngest player in MLB history to have a three home run, seven RBI night.

That’s a mark not even Vladdy can replicate! Maybe Vladdy III…

Guerrero Jr. seems to have found his potential, and if he has it will be a fun year for the Blue Jays.
