Another day, another statistic that Vladimir Guerrerro Jr. puts up to just further confirm this kid is MVP bound.
Within the past three games, Vladdy has not only taken over the MLB leaderboard and became the first player this season to reach 20 HRs, but he became the fastest Jays player to reach 21 HRs in a season since Delgado back in 2000.
You know, when Vladdy was only a year old. Crazy stuff right?
Well during the Jays final game of their series against the Red Sox, he just continued to add to the ongoing list.
Vlad now is tied with Canada’s own Tyler O’Neill for most 450+ HRs this season (4).
And he’s not done yet.
Vladdy’s 22nd HR of the season was the Blue Jays 100th of the season, marking the 2nd fastest that they’ve reached the 100 HR mark since 2000.
This kid is absolutely nuts.
