The Minnesota Vikings were one of the most disappointing NFL teams this year. With Kirk Cousins locked into a huge contract, the Vikes couldn’t put it together and ended up missing playoffs by way of a loss to the Chicago Bears.
At least for the Vikings fans, there was some positive entertainment. Unfortunately, it happened during halftime when the Vikings were in the locker room.
We’re talking about a game of Ultimate Frisbee that happened between the two cities jousting for NFL playoff implications; Chicago and Minnesota (okay, that one is a state but you get the point).
It was chalked full of diving catches and long bombs that seem to float in the air forever:
Short, but so sweet.
Frisbee gets a bad reputation for “not really being a sport”, but that takes a lot of endurance. It’s basically straight sprinting a lot of the time.
And hey, Minnesota won! Maybe the Wind Chill will adopt some disgruntled Vikings fans.
