Jaromir Jagr is nicknamed the ageless wonder for his ridiculously long NHL career, that stretched right up until last season. While he still hasn’t *officially* retired, it looks like he may be done after a short and injury-riddled stint on the Calgary Flames.
While he was on the Flames, he did get to experience something new. Playing in the Saddledome, the Flames shared the building with the Calgary Roughnecks of the NLL. One day, Calgary Roughnecks employee Zane Fletcher noticed Jagr sitting on the bench watching as the rink was all set up for lacrosse.
Fletcher invited him to play, and Jagr happily obliged!
(The video flips partway through, but you get the point.)
So when he decides to hang up the skates for good, maybe it’s time for Jagr to give lacrosse a shot?
