The Dallas Cowboys are one of those iconic franchises that brings about one of two emotions; you either love them, or you hate them. There’s no in between.
While this old adage is true of lots of historical franchises, across many different sports, there’s something extra special about the ‘Boys. Their frustrating leadership that never seems to waver in confidence, but also perpetually underachieves, is extremely hard to cheer for. From coach Jason Garrett to owner Jerry Jones, it’s been the same faces in charge and the same paltry results.
Despite yet another underwhelming season, the Cowboys found themselves on the verge of a playoff spot in Week 17 due to being a member of the weakest division in football. They had to beat the Washington Redskins, which to their credit they did with authority, but also had to rely on the Philadelphia Eagles to lose to the New York Giants.
Unfortunately for the Cowboys, the Eagles got it done. If you aren’t a fan of the Cowboys, here’s a video of Jerry Jones taking in the Eagles dagger touchdown in the 4th to put Philly up by 10.
With the same energy as a rabid dog, fans jumped all over it. Some merely called out Jones for his stubborn ways, while others decided to take it a step further with their trolling.
