The fight song for the University of Southern California is called 'Fight On' and it's a fitting fight song for a come from behind victory in which a team had to "fight on."
Saturday, the USC Women's Track and Field team had to fight their way to a National Championship and they did it in an improbable way in the 4x400m.
USC had to win the 4x400m in order to win the National Championship and it looked like there was no way that was going to happen with Purdue so far ahead.
Kendall Ellis fought on, though, and turned what looked like a Purdue win into a victory for her school.
Willing yourself to victory when victory seems unattainable is one of the reasons why we love sports. Hats off to the USC Women's Track and Field team for fighting until the end to become champions. (H/T: USC Trojans)
