Usain Bolt just continues to make history… even without wearing proper equipment.
The World’s fastest man is taking in some Super Bowl festivities ahead of Sunday night’s big event and decided to put a show on for fans in casual running shows. Bolt hit the turf and cruised his way to a blazing 4.22 seconds on the 40-yard dash. That ties Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Joh Ross’ record from the 2017 NFL combine for the fastest 40 ever recorded!
Wonder how many McNuggests he hammered before that one… And where was the signature celebration?!
For reference, here’s a look at just how fast Ross looked when he beat Chris Johnson’s record of 4.24.
An 8 x Olympic gold medalist, Bolt has displayed such extraordinary speed that’s convinced fans he would succeed in other sports. In 2016 he reportedly received offers to play wide receiver in the NFL and even played for soccer's Central Coast Mariners of the Hyundai #ALeague. Guess speed can take you anywhere if you’re quick enough!
Now if only we could get this guy on skates…
