Back in November, Riley Morrison stole all of our hearts when she had the initiative to write Stephen Curry to inquire as to why his shoes were only available in boy's and men's sizes.
In turn, Curry responded in the best way possible, and he also hinted at having something special in the works for Riley on International Women’s Day, which is tomorrow.
Today, we found out what that ‘more to come’ was.
Curry and Under Armour released the new Curry 6s in honour of International Women’s Day, and they feature a brilliant sockliner designed by Morrison herself. Her design is a sweet tribute to girl power, and we absolutely love it.
Curry, a father of two girls himself that also runs girls-only basketball camps, handled this situation perfectly. We love the shoes, this partnership, and what it stands for.
